Red, White & Blue Pretzel Treats

I love sweet & salty together! Don’t you? Well, I am at our condo in Mexico recovering from shoulder surgery! Yes, I have so much to share with you all. I’ve been horrible about not blogging since my move, renovation of new home, driving Madison an 1 hour each way to school (so she can graduate with her Kindergarten class) vacation and surgery! Things are finally getting back to normal and I have missed you all so much!

I will be here for the 4th of July so I wanted to bring the celebration to the beach! I made these super easy treats. Perfect and easy for any last minute treat for your 4th of July celebrations!

What you’ll need

  • Bite-size, waffle-shaped pretzels
  • Candy Melts or Hershey’s White Chocolate Hugs
  • M&M’s candy

How to make it

  1. Heat the oven to 250° F. Set a number of bite-size, waffle-shaped pretzels in a single layer on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or foil, then top each pretzel with an Hershey’s Hug or white candy melt.

  2. Bake for 2 to 3 minutes (the white chocolate will melt more quickly).  Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and quickly press an M&M’s candy into the center of each.

  3. Allow the treats to cool for a few minutes, then place them in the refrigerator to set, about 10 minutes.

    So easy and totally YUMMY!
