Parties That Wow! Our SNAP Class

Hello everyone! Thanks for being here! I have had a lot of personal and professional changes in my life so have not been blogging as regular as I used to! Things are finally getting settled and I will be back here with you a lot more now! I taught a class at SNAP in Utah a few weeks ago with my party partner in crime Mariah from Giggles Galore. We had so much fun and was truly thrilled with our class BLOG STARS! It was standing room only or should I say most of the floor space was filled as well! Every attendee received their invitation at their seat. All of the printables were designed by my dynamic dual Shannon and Rebecca from Petite Party Studio! Let me say….no matter how busy I may become I am so grateful for all the wonderful women who I now call my friends that I’ve met through blogging! I am so blessed and love these girls so much!! Mariah, Shannon and Rebecca are seriously talented and are rare jewels and I’m so blessed to have them as friends! If you aren’t familiar with their work you need to check them out! You will be so happy you did!

We made centerpieces for 10 tables and not spend over $10 per table. Yes, we brought all this stuff with us! Needless to say, I was over my weight limit on the plane! I left most of my decor for any locals to take back with them. However, we got so much swag at SNAP that I still went home with barely making the weight limit on both my large suitcases! Mind you I was only there for 3 days!! I made this centerpiece using a Dollar Tree glass vase and I glued on negatives. BTW, we were going with an old Hollywood movie theme/feel.

During our class we had TONS of giveaways! Our sponsors were so generous! Mariah and I picked our favorites party peeps and was so happy to be able to share the products we love with our class! One of the sponsors I chose was Blumebox! I love their products because they are so versatile!! You must think outside the box and let your imagine go wild using these boxes. The best part for me is that they come flat so easy to transport. For this centerpiece, I used the white square Blumebox and made gold glitter stripes. So easy to do!  A list of all our sponsors are at the bottom of post.

For this centerpiece I used a strip of rhinestones. It totally makes it look all fancy schmancy! The Blumeboxes come in so many colors that it makes coordinating with your party super easy.

I love using water pearls in centerpieces and light them with submersible LEDs.

Love how Mariah used cheap dollar store popcorn boxes and patterned paper from the Petite Party Studio printable package to make these centerpieces!

Every party I have you will find real flowers! I just think they take your party to the next level. If you can’t afford a bunch then you can add them to silk flowers or just have a statement piece. I think that silk flowers tend to be expensive however you can reuse them.

We had a “Pap” arazzi popcorn buffet. Get it paparazzi and popcorn?? I think it’s genius myself! LOL Don’t forget we don’t live in Utah so Mariah and I had to figure this all out on the fly. Luckily for us we spotted these jars at the craft party on Friday night. We kind of “borrowed” them from the hotel….just kidding we had permission! Also, thanks to our fellow party gal pal Holly from Paisley Petal Events…we raided her home of party supplies! Another sweet girl….have you checked out her blog? Love that girl!

We had a complete popcorn buffet ….popcorn courtesy of my favorite gourmet popcorn place in the universe! Poppa Maize Gourmet popcorn!!! Seriously the best popcorn you will ever have. They have TONS of gourmet flavors and they always custom color match my popcorn to my parties! LOVE them and their popcorn. I will never ever go anywhere else….yes they are local however, they ship!! Popcorn is great for every party….who doesn’t love popcorn???? Plus, I plan on have many movie nights over the summer. Their gourmet popcorn beats microwave popcorn hands down!!! Didn’t get a front shot of popcorn bar….does anyone have one???

Another way I used my Blumeboxes on the dessert table. They are perfect for dessert tables as well because they each come with a plastic liner…making everything sanitary but if you have leftovers simply keep in plastic bag and tie. Win Win!!

My talented partner in crime….Mariah from Giggles Galore!

and me…..ahem did you notice that Mariah and me matched our party decor??? That may or may not have been planned!

Thanks to all the BLOG STARS who attended our class. We seriously enjoyed you and hope you got a lot of useful information for your future parties!! BTW, party trends and decor change every year so if you need to know 2014 party trends and new party items then I guess we would just have to continue the party……just sayin’
