DIY Mini Cakes

I love these mini cakes…they look so hard to get such perfect and even, right???
These babies were made in a can! Get out! I LOVE them!! It looks so easy maybe I can do it!! Jordan from Oh Happy Day made these lovelies! I must say I love her blog…she moved to Paris for a year with her family from San Francisco. How exciting! I love Paris! I went there alone before I was married and let me tell you it really is the city of love…I want to go back now! I digress, what were we talking about?? Oh yea, mini cakes!
Look how easy?? To make cakes Jordan says~Step 1. Remove paper from the empty can and clean it. Grease and flour the inside of the can. To bake fill can a little over half full with batter. I baked these at 325 degrees for about 25 minutes but my oven is not consistent so make sure you check them by dipping in a toothpick until it comes out clean. Let cakes cool completely before removing.

This is a must try….got to start saving my cans now as well as my glass jars. My hubby is really going to think I’m nuts.
